Alfredo Ayala is the chef-owner of Chayote Restaurant. He trained with Eric Ripert, chef of Le Bernardin in New York (and also a ‚“Great Chef,‚” featured on Great Chefs of the East), and spent two months in France at Joel Robuchon´s Restaurant Jamin.
Since living in Puerto Rico, Chef Ayala has been involved in several fine restaurants, including Su Casa Restaurant, the Hyatt Dorado Beach, Yukiyu Restaurant and Sushi Bar, Ali-Oli Restaurant. and Las Vegas near El Yunque Rain Forest.
