Approaching the hill, you catch a glimpse of a home snuggled just below the ridge, high above the Caribbean: Villa des Great Chefs.

As you reach the drive, twin columns and wrought-iron gates frame a view of the sea, 680 feet below. Walk past the pavilion, and the view opens before you, stretching from historic Christiansted toward Buck Island. Palms dance in the trade winds blowing across the sparkling pool and terra-cotta terrace overlooking the sea. Bask on the sunning terrace by the pool. Get creative with the Weber 2000 grill. Lounge by the bougainvillea and feel the trade winds against your skin. Get in touch with silence. The large living area opens to the patio and pool, with uninterrupted views over the Caribbean toward downtown Christiansted and the harbor. A gourmet kitchen is available if you don’t want to dine in town. The master suite opens to the patio area; another bedroom suite has its own private entrance.

Everywhere are special touches, from the Weber 2000 gas grill in the pavilion, to the garden behind the house.
